Gearbox again.

Anbody help, i have a spare box which i want to be rebuilt from an SDi but ive been told by the gearbox specialist that the rear housing where the remote linkage goes is different on the SDi to the one i have on the car. I have rang RT racing and he says that the remote housing i take off my old box will fit directly onto the one i want rebuilding, any ideas lads?

Agree - in fact all you need to change is the cranked cut'n'shut gearstick handle, and probably the nylon drive gear for the speedo.

Hmm never thought of the speedo drive. Will that need replacing? It does tend to wander up and down while accelerating.
