Just been out for 1/2 hour blat checking nothings about to fall off and no strange noises. A few healthy cracks on the overun along the Gillingham link road, so seemed ok. Tried to have some fun with a new M3 conv., but he didn't want to play, and by the time I found a 996 C2S (I think) there was too much traffic.
Looking good for the weekend though.

Did you get the chassis. If you get Wedge withdrawal I'll always give you a ride. :

Hi Martin,
I did indeed get the chassis, with a big Thank you to Wedgie for bringing it down to Leicester. I
t's a 400SE chassis in very good condition. Just needs modifying to 350 spec, which I will do over the summer.
I've just finished the welding on my existing chassis so I can start to make all the bits look pretty in preparation for the return of the gearbox.

I may well take you up on your offer of a blat in yours to relieve the cold Turkey

Are you going on the Bank Holiday Monday run from the Woodman(I think)?

Glad the chassis is sorted.
I am hoping to join bank holiday blat, subject to not being invaded by all my grandchildren, I should know arrangements soon.

Nine - that's young to be a father

Sadly - I never got anywhere near the wedge. Busy with the kitchen but I did buy a 'optimate' for keep the wedge battery on top form and a cam corder car mount - I also put my new mig welder together
