My car says it is Ruby Mica Red. Where can I get a matching pot of touch up paint. Can't see any paint numbers under the bonnet. Does anyone know what car's paint TVR used?
thanks BobM

I think some of the halfords stores do holts dupli-colour cellulose custom matched paints which they make up for you. About £6.00 for a 100ml bottle if I remember correctly. The problem may be identifying a paint code that they can work with.

As said previously some Halfords stores can mix paint to match. If you can take a sample i.e. fuel filler flap you can spend ages going through their colour chips, as I did. I took my sill in (as I had it off at the time) and the very helpful chap spent ages going through the colour chips. The closest we could get was a colour used on some Subarus. They mixed me an aerosol and hey presto. I think it was about £10.

Try and find the paint spec on the autocolour site
Helfords or any auto colour centre will mix paint or aerosols.
www.ppg.com/nexaautocolor/index.html
Go to - technical
Go to - on-line colour
- at this stage you will have to register but no charge - you wil receive a pass word by return.
Then you can search by Manufacturer - TVR - colour - year etc
I found the full mix spec for Mica blue via this route.

Hope this helps
