Hi, There I was all chuffed with myself for draining the brake fluid, fitting new pads and bleeding the lot when on my road test the n/s bracket for the bottom of my hood strut disintegrated !!

anyone any ideas on where to source them?

You can replace them with Griff/Chimp ones, which IMHO look nicer and are better made than the box section Wedge versions. I got a pair from Douglas Valley Breakers.

Thanks redcar appreciate the offer. I think what I have must be from a Chim as the struts are aluminium and the brackets look like similar (or some lower grade aluminium look alike).

Believe the original wedge ones were painted steel?
