Switch for Fog lights
Discussion
On my 390SE that switch is wired to 2 fans in the engine compartment either side of the engine near the bulkhead. Not sure what effect they are meant to have and the only time I have switched them on was to find out what the switch did.

Wasn't there a difference from the early wedges to the later ones in that the early cars had to have the main beams on and the later cars could turn the driving lights on by them selfs?
Charlie
Hi Charlie I think thats only with a modification...The driving lights flash but have no separate switch..Charlie
It would be good if I could have sidelights on with them if I wish or just sidelights but wires need cutting and I'm not in the habit of doing that....I was looking into having a separate switch for the sidelights but more important things came up....My light pods......
Its handy to see the photos of the wedge centre consoles. Your photos show the legends for the heater controls which mine does not have. I've been trying for several years to work out which position is screen/footwell/ hot /cold etc but the heater is so rubbish moving the controls doesn't make much of a difference. More photos please as none of yours are quite the same as mine!!! ps. I hope I haven't hijacked a thread.

Hi mate...Now do not quote me on this but with my 350i when the left dial is showing red then warm air comes out the vents...When showing blue I have warm air coming out of the vents......The right hand dial when to the left blows on the screen...When to the right it blows on the screen...And in the footwell...Although I could be wrong and its just a draught coming in..I get air out of the front vents whatever the dials are on....Don't you just love it....
Front fog lights on the 350SE (well mine anyway) are full beam in addition to the main head lights. So :-
1. ignition off. no flash, headlight switch sidelights only, no pop up, no head lights.
2. ignition on I(radio)same as above.
3. ignition on II. 1 click pods pop up, sidelights on both main lights and the bumper mounted ones.
4. ignition on II. headlights on(headlight switch 2 clicks) the headlights are on, little sidelight are still on, full beam works on both pods and bumper on flash an selected full beam.
Heater workings
1. roof off, n/a
2. roof off when its a bit cold put it on hot.
3. roof off and is chucking down, put roof on and set the heater controls to either dry your leg or your carpets.3 settings for this one.
