I was bored today and decided to go for a solo blast around Wales.

Went to Brecon then cut across on the A40 to Llandovery then took the A483 past Beulah then onto Builth Wells then back on the A470 back to Brecon and then home.

Pissed away £40's worth of petrol but the roads were absolutely brilliant. Top off, hardly anybody about (except the obligatory packs of power bikes also out for a hoon).

Some excellent long roads that you can see for miles gently undulating - brilliant stuff.

Next time I go I will have to go mob handed. TVR's were built for these type of trips.

ps. Sorry about the boring post but the roads were so good I just had to share it!

A470 just above where the A4059 joins. Last lake before Story Arms and a superb burger bar just over the hill.

PS one of me profile pics is in the same spot but different angle

Spot on Jeff, knew you would know it.....and the burger van a few miles further! ;-)

The £40 you also have to factor in that you have to get to and from Brecon in the first place and factor in the 450SE tuned engine and the driving style of the nutter in charge of it ;-)

ps. Best forty quid I have spent in a long time.

'....how do you work a website?'

Why are you asking me? I have spent most of the day on the support line to my webserver chums in France regarding my webspace. At one point I was gonna jump in the car drive over there and do somebody and injury!. - Anybody seen that 'Falling Down' movie? well that was me around 2pm today.
