V6 oil pressure sender

I've decided that the high reading I'm getting on my oil pressure gauge is fiction. The gauge has tested fine, as has the wiring, so that leaves the sender unit.

So far I haven't been able to trace a sender for the Stewart Warner gauges.

Assuming I can find one, does anyone know if a Ford sender will work.

Walldonway supplied me with a 2.8 'S' oil pressure sender. Although it took a moment to start registering, sesible reading have now returned.
