Putting the steering wheel back on yesterday but seem to have something missing, when I got the car it had the centre badge as shown, can't see how to fix it on though!
Part missing?

Mine was like that - if you look at the back of the cap, there should be 3 plastic columns, and they are supposed to fit onto/over 3 of the bolt heads.

Mine was broken, so was loose, and I think it needs to have the right size bolt heads.....It's bit crappy to be honest

Fuzzy memory now, as I changed it for a different Triumph boss and wheel.... luckily the TVR badge fitted in with a little bit of filing around the edge.

It don't look to be broken, maybe I'll leave it off and let people try to connect it at a TVR meeting !

Hi you have the correct wheel centre but the wrong wheel. S1's originally had a deep dish Springalex steering wheel. They come up for sale occasionally but the Escort boys like them and they can make big money.

From your second photo, it may still work if you use 'cheesehead' slotted head bolts instead of hex head....

(yes, that IS their official description)

Has anyone got a photo of a s1 Tasmin steering wheel I could take a look at please?

Info -

I looked again at your first photo, and it looked VERY familiar, and in my head it was therefore the wedge wheel.....

BUT then I realised that it's probably a Triumph wheel and boss, which is why it's familiar to me.

If so it would fit the Triumph cover, and that goes the guide hole in the top...(Saloon, Stag, Dolomite) after all it's a TR7 column.....

Don't think there are blank ones, unfortunately, they are all embossed (as far as I know)
