Wedge passed MOT today after 2 years off road thank god. Brakes do not give you confidence, you feel suspension is going to fall off and you are waiting for it to breakdown or overheat but by God I have missed driving it. Emissions were 0.20% so a bit of fiddling with the AFM me thinks. On a different note does anyone know were I can get another AFM or get this one refurbished.

Congratulations.

I still have the MOT ordeal to come .. after 6 years off the road.

RE : AFM

I presume its a flapper. You could remove the top plastic cover and clean it up inside.. I'm sure others can advise on this.

Info here of changing to a new AFM but the flapper system will always sound the best .. so dont do it.

Well done.

I was in the same boat last week but it had been off the road for 10 years! Only thing required was one headlight adjustment. Mechanic was frightened to jack it up because he didn't want to scratch the chassis All those hours of work have finally paid off.
