15" 350i lattice wheels on a 280 tasmin

As title really. Will the 350 I wheels fit directly on to a 280 tasmin without modification?

When you say 350i Wheels do you mean the 15" Lattice wheels replacing the 280 standard 14" Lattice wheels? If you do then the answer is yes. I'm running 15" wheels on the 200 and they fit no problem. Cheers Steve

Thanks Steve. The question was for a fella who thought I was selling 14" lattice whereas they are 15" s. Not sure if he wants them now.......

Just check the clearance between the outside edge of the front tyres and the bottom inner edge of the wing.



They are all different so you may be fine. More likely to be an issue if running 205/60. 205/55 shouldn't be an issue.

TBH unless he's a real purist he would be better off with the 15" wheels you are selling. There is much more tyre choice with a 15" wheel. This was the main reason I changed mine from 14" to 15". They look exactly the same so I didn't see it as a big deal. I certainly had no issues with clearance. The only 2 down sides I can see are the speedo may be slightly wrong (depending on the tyres you fit) and it's possible the ride may not be quite as compliant with a smaller wall tyre.

I too am running 15" lattice wheels on a 280.

Re tyre choice - the 280 had 205/60 14 tyres, so when I fitted the 15" wheels I used 205/55 15 tyres to retain the same rolling circumference. The 350 would have run 205/60 15 tyres so be wary that these clear ok if you are using those same tyres.
