I think you can get new ones from Rimmers. If so you'd be better off spending your money on something you know will work. After all, you only want to fit it once don't you?

As a note of caution I recently bought a"reconditioned" unit from rimmed bros which was nothing of the sort...
Have you tried having a rummage in your existing motor? Might just be dirt or worn connections
