BBWF : BBQ

Just an update on the BBWF BBQ.

We need to have paid for the BBQ tickets 4 weeks prior to the event.

The following have already sent me cheques :

Could I ask everyone else to send me their cheques if you want the BBQ. If there is a number next to your name below - it's because I think you want the BBQ.

It's worth noting - there is not much food available locally (5 ~ 10 min drive), the Hotel also has a wedding on so their restaurant is fully booked and the BBQ is only a tenner (I should be on commision ) and if not booked in advance then I cannot add you once at the event.

I can confirm a dearth of food alternatives locally. Last year Julie and I went several miles to the next town (I forget which one ) and ended up in a pub. Whilst the food was fine and the musicians competent, we found ourselves hemmed into a corner by a "girls' night out" posse, the loudest and most p155ed of whom was a Policewoman
I was also a touch sceptical that the TVR would survive the carpark unscathed but it did, although the pothole on the way in was a challenge even for the Range Rover that followed us
