After a couple of attempts to ressicate my rev counter I'm finally admitting defeat. I'm annoyed mostly because it means having to strip the dashboard down. Finally getting the wedge out on the road today, it's reading were mostly almost non existant, occasionally ridiculous and very very rarely believable.

I've tried replacing the earths, so I'm guessing it's effectively dead.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement Stewart Warner gauge.

Thanks

Todd

You could give Neil at tvrcarparts.com a call on 01884 266 755, he might be able to help.

Thanks for the offer reliant_fr, however looking at your profile, your wedge is a late V8. Mine's a relatively early (81-83 build) V6, so I don't think the rev counter will work correctly.

Thanks anyway

Neil at TVR parts definately knows where to get a rev counter repaired , as he got MrsH's done when the body off was done . It was a 91 400 , so it was an upside down one , if yours is an earlier one it probably goes the "Right" way round and made by VDO

hi,
Does anyone know if a rev counter with number 035N-113A (above the "TVR" logo) is good for a 350I. It looks the same as I have but has a different number. My 350I has T35N-003P. Anyone have any ideas what the numbers mean?
