350i S2 dash removal - how?
Discussion
Hi fellow wedgers,
My oil pressure gauge stopped working after hitting a pothole. I now have max. oil pressure all the time, even when the engine isn’t even running.
I guess I’ll have to remove the panel carrying the various gauges to get to the oil pressure gauge. What’s the best way of doing this? I have removed the veneer panel already.
Cheers!

Hi as Glen and Tony say, it's more likely a short where the cable comes off the sender unit. This would give you the full scale deflection on the oil pressure gauge. Try wiggling the cable a bit first. has it moved and touched the manifold, melting the insulation for example? Cheers.
