Bonnet release cable

Could someone just describe the route of the cable from inside the car to the latch, engine side of bulkhead?

My pull is positioned close to the drivers A post, just under the dash. From there it runs through a grommet next to the brake servo and then runs along the bulkhead behind the engine and across to the catch. Where it exits the cabin it shares the grommet with the speedo cable.

Thanks guys wasn't sure if perhaps it ran on the inside behind the dash
