Hello Iain. If it's a FHC that they are breaking, can you see if you can get the window louver's (spelling?)/side covers for me. Also if it has the original disc-shaped Telecast alloy wheels on it, can you see if you can get the wheel centers and badges from them if they are any good. Finally, again if it's a FHC, can you see if you can get the gas struts from the rear window for me.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me.

If it's a FHC and the door glass frames are in reasonable nick then get them as there was a recent thread where a group of people were talking about getting a batch made.

I can't say I need anything at the moment, but given the opportunity, I'd be tempted to take the usual short supply items and assume someone on here would want them at some stage. Instruments, headlight motors, wheels, badges, seats, seat belts, windscreen, door glass and window motors. You'll probably be able to negotiate a discount and if you add a few percent you'll easily be able to recover your costs.

Hope I'm not being too cheeky, but it seems like too good an opportunity to miss.

Maybe...

You've been on eBay too then. Last time I was round the back there, so to speak, they had an S, Chimp and Cerbera, not seen any Wedges there yet.

Have you been already, is it worth my while going?

Iain

No, not at all, but if i do that my Tasmin wont be ready for BBWF, however i could trailer it down to show everyone the work in progress and put all the spares that everyone wants in the boot of my Rover...

Am going to have to take a look at it and then make a decision. The decision will be a trade off between making money and pride, i've had my Tasmin since Dec 2001 and its still not ready, however the entrepreneur in me says go on son make some cash...

If anyone fancies removing the veneer panel off the dash I'll take it.

Bob.

I think this could have sorted my rev counter problem.

Being an early model it should share the Stewart Warner instruments with mine.

Anyone care to give the details of where this is? I need a hazzard warning switch and a couple of ashtrays. The switch is proving a real pain to source, ordered a TR7 one, which doesn't fit and it now appears it could be SD1.

Hi Steve, its on the A51 about 2miles the Chester side of Nantwich, fairly close to Oulton Park, so not too far from you.

Cheers Iain, was hoping to go this afternoon but doesn't look like I'm going to have time now. I work just outside Knutsford so I'll go on Tuesday. Thanks.

Hi Iain,
I could do with the 3 position heater fan switch if it is available. I believe it is a Lucas 33939A. (It is for a 350i, but I think they are the same!).
Thanks

Phil

I am after an ashtray as well. And the glove box lid veneer panel.

If these are going spare then let me know.

I could use the leather radio/ventilation surround if it's in tan/saddle color and in good condition.

Also any and all plastic screw caps from the radio surround and boot. Glad to pay for time and shipping to Texas. Thanks Grady
