Steering wheel size?
Discussion
Just been through this recently. I had a Mountney 13 inch wooden steering wheel which falls somewhere between the standard sizes of 320 or 350mm that are available now. I think the original wheels were dished, not sure what diameter. The problem I found was that going to a 350mm wheel that wasn't dished would cause problems with hands catching on the windscreen/dash and on legs so I opted for the smaller 320mm. My car is an 83 Tasmin without power steering and I have to say that I haven't really noticed the difference going from the Mountney to the slightly smaller Momo......it's still very heavy but not noticeably worse. I guess later cars may be different as they had the later SD1 then even later Granada steering columns
