What holds the window glass into the riser channel please? Mines corroded and the rubber seal disintegrated. Thanks J C.

I believe it's just a tight fit between the glass rubber and channel.

Thanks Allan. Mines so corroded it impossible to tell if there were clips or anything. I've just sent a post to another PH whose breaking a vehicle in the hope of sourcing a part. Judging from the condition of the drivers side I fully expect the passenger will be in the same state. Thank for the reply. J C.

Hi John

Word of caution....Be VERY careful pulling the glass out of the runners....the side glass is like hens teeth..The Range Rover classic runners fit...and they sell the rubber strip that holds the glass.

You're a star Mark, I had visions of trying to fabricate one. Cheers Mate John. Any thoughts on suspension refurb ie bushes, shocks and springs?

I used the Superflex poly bushes
https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&...

Or someone like Racetech..two kits are needed.

Or ACT...
You could also use the Gaz from ACT..

If you just need new springs then ask Richard Thorpe.

Thanks Mark. Not to bad a price for shocks and springs. I believe there are different rates/colours of poly bushes?

I replaced both my runners earlier this year and used ones of a range rover as already suggested and they work a treat.

The bushes all have different shore depending on colour...I was told to avoid super-pro..orange as they are really soft..but not sure they make them now..I think the black and dark purple are fine...smile
