I am working on a none running TVR wedge that I own (used to be my uncles for 15yrs prior) I have had the injectors out and found 4, all on the R/H side, constantly open, which I have cured now, but before refitting the fuel injectors, thought I'd fit new seals, when I removed the injectors some seals came away with the injector and some stayed put in the manifold so my question is....which would be the best way to do this, fit them on the injectors first or fit them in the manifold then slide injectors into them? Also should I use any lubricant on these?
Thanks for any feed back.

Hi, I had a set of injectors refurbished the other year with new seals. When I came to fit them I ensured the seal was on the injector and then slid the injector into the manifold. I used a smear of high temperature rubber grease to ease it in. Any photos of your Wedge? - we always like to see a new one on the forum. Cheers Keith

Hi Keith,
Thanks for reply, sounds good so will give it a try that way. I'll see if I can work out how to upload a picture.and keep you posted on how the injectors go.
Cheers,
Dave.

Well I've now fitted the fuel injectors and used some 'Three Bond Silicone Grease' on the new seals and looks ok. Supplier information says its ideal for fuel injector seals.
Slow progress I know but just do a little work on it when I can, just wondered if any torque settings for the injector retaining plate, plenum chamber etc are available anywhere, I've done the usual Google research and checked the SD1 manual but no result.
