Silly question no. 94

Hi,
Does anyone know what size (thread etc.) the grease nipples on the door pillars are?
Mines are missing, so I don't know what to look for as replacements.

The car is a 280i - in case there are different types!

I dont recall seeing them on my 280i door hinge...but defo have them on the 350i...

This should do the job..... nipples

You could temporarily steal one off a UJ and see if it fits, and then use it to grease the hinges before returning it.
Then you'll know if it's the same size. UJ ones commonly come up as spares recovered when you change the UJ's.

That's a good idea, I'd forgotten about those. I'll give it a try!

I have a couple of 280 door with hinges on I’ll look tomorow see if there’s any nipples in them
