It looks like I've found another use for my folding crane !

But are you expecting to lift the whole body of like that ?

It's on it's way off......

Well, the 4 big strong men idea is and was good, but last night I got impatient. It went like this, out with angry grinder to see to some nuts that had been holding me up and annoying me. Then I thought, well lets just see if I've got it loose yet......it would seem I have as next thing I knew, it was like you see it!

The ropes at the front are well placed. In case you're wondering/panicking.....the back isn't levitating. There's a jack, axle stands and a few blocks of wood strategically placed round the car so it shouldn't be about to snap in two, I hope. I'm not really going to lift the whole lot off with one crane, though it did cross my mind

Though it does leave me with a Wedge, so if any big strong men do find themselves bored and near York tonight they would be welcomed! Failing that I have a vague plan........

cheers
Dave
