Rear lights do appear to be the big issue. A decent engineering company should be able to fabricate replacement half shafts if need be, although I'm guessing that they wont be cheap! The selection of Wedge parts available at TVR Parts still grows by the month. Every time I have a look at the products available there's a few new surprises there.
The issue with printing is that it melts, so interior car parts in the summer sun destroy themselves, but, wiper motors (I have refurbished several 100 which includes lots of 16W units) and seat mech covers (I made moulds, RH and LH, to make them in fibreglass) as I needed a few sets for my 280i and some S/V8S seats.

I'm no expert but.................I believe there are now materials that will withstand the 60-70 degrees that the interior of a car could reach on a scorchy hot day?
At work I see many 3D printed prototype parts in cars, even in the summer!
Yours truly looking inside a 1/3 scale Aston Martin, guy told us that basically the whole car was 3D printed in sections, I kinda think they wouldn't have left it behind that big glass window if the only thing stopping it self destructing was a spindly pot plant

I cannot disagree with you Mike...but the very reason that the seat finishers were made in FG was that it was stable, when the development printed one failed in the sun at my house (mid Oct), also the resin door handle escutcheons (M series and Tasmin) failed at le-mans at 40 degree (I have had them made in Mexico from original injection tools in ABS) I do not doubt that there are industrial companies out there who can...BUT the X19 versions are priced at 99.00UKP!

A thought here... was that the printed mould (it was easy to make a female) failed with the heat from the FG mix.

I bought a pair from that guy, think he took the hump when he realised I'd bought them for a TVR and his price shot up.
I joined an X19 group on FB and got a couple at a more reasonable price, although postage from the States wasn't cheap!
(their passenger side, which doesn't generally get so damaged, is of course our drivers side)
