Hello all
With the nice weather thought I would take the car out for a run today but found battery flat came to remove it to put on charge and it ain’t coming out . It’s stuck between wing and body where master cylinder bolts on,there’s movement but not enough to get it out . Do I have wrong battery or am I missing something but it got in so surely it must come out .
Cheers

Thats the joy of TVR...
Mine has such a small space that the only battery that fits chips the bodywork, and alleviates you of skin from your fingers......well I say the only but if you want to spend a couple of hundred pounds then get a red top battery ...The 280i was a nightmare as the space was tapered...

Yes my Battery is a pain to get out it involved wiggle it around, loose the skin of a knuckle or two.
So now it only comes off the car if it fails and has to be replaced,
Normally charge it a couple of times over the winter when its on sorn, just open the bpnnet and put on charge, with it still attached to the car.
Done that for about four years now (last time battery died) and never a problem
