Hi mate
Bit of a weird one really..all my Coolant Temperature Sender checked out and worked as it should...Thermotime switch works fine..however my Cold Start Injector earth dropped out reversing the polarity and the live must of shorted out..I know there is a lot of people who say that we do not need it but mine simply will not start even on a warm morning without that initial squirt of fuel, I rigged up a spare plug connected to what was a cigarette socket light, which I utilised for the feed to the new CSI...I simply plug it in pre-ignition...turn the key...she fires up...I remove it...happy days...
My AFM was out of calibration as it was noted to be significantly lean on the last MOT...however since the calibration I still need that extra squirt of fuel...bit of a head scratcher...
The intake hose was already on her and is an ACT product as far as im aware...apparently the black one is a stronger material.
