Nicely turned out Wedges needed! This year I've volunteered to organise the timeline at the Burghley BHP season opener, and I'd to try and get as near as I can to a full chronology.

Now I'm not a Wedge expert, so please correct me if there are any errors or omissions in this list. Some of them may be wishful thinking I know but if you don't ask you don't get! I think the models I need are:

Tasmin 200 FHC
Tasmin 200 convertible
Tasmin 280i FHC
Tasmin 280i convertible
Tasmin Turbo
Tasmin 2+2
Tasmin 350i FHC
Tasmin 350i convertible
Tasmin SX350
390SE
400SE
430SE
450SE
420 SEAC
450 SEAC
SEAC race car

For me, it's more important to have as many models represented as possible so I'm not looking only for cars in concourse condition - nicely turned out is the watchword.

If you have one of the above and you'd be happy to take part, please email me at bhptimeline@gmail.com - suggestions/general comments are very welcome in this thread, but I don't think it's a good place for a lot of individual conversations - that would become unmanageable!

So I look forward to a massive response :-) Many thanks for your help.

The 200 was carb fed so no.."i".....there is also a 350FHC 2+2...420SE a 390SE FHC..1 of and an illusive 500SE.

There was also a wide bodied supercharged 390SE race car...okay it was not a production car but TVR replaced the trailing arm suspension with A frame and the supercharger was fitted by Haughins who did all the SX conversions at the time..the owner was also a very good friend of Peter Wheeler...smile

Good luck with the timeline......

at this rate there won't be any room left for any other models.

My car was in the time line back in 2015.

It has since been confirmed as the 4th Production TVR Tasmin 280i DropHead.

It will be at the Classic Restoration Show in March too.

in 2015 we stayed in a hotel a short drive from Burghley and I think we planned to be there by 8am.

Maybe email the OP and see what arrangements are for this year?

I'm organising this year - the latest time for arrival will be 10:00am. I'll be there from around 8:00am so any time in between is fine. Do please email me at bhptimeline@gmail.com with details of your car if you're interested - thanks.

and don't forget the 660 SEAC.

It's so mythical no-one has seen it for 20 years.

Also you neglected to mention the date, is this Saturday 6th April?

Good spot! The timeline is on the Sunday - 7th April. There are run-outs on Saturday 6th, but no event at Burghley House that day.

Cheers, as Burghley only seems to be 55 miles away it would be rude not to.

However the 400SX is my daily drive and also undergoing some leather restoration, so "nicely turned out" may mean some last minute polishing!

A big thank-you to those who have emailed me.

Any owners of fixed-head Tasmins out there who might be persuaded, or Tasmin Turbo, 350SX, 400SE/430SE/450SE? Anyone with a SEAC 450??
