Hi All,

I'm looking for side mirrors (L&R) to update the look of my 280i. I prefer the streamlined fiberglass look on the later 350i/390i versions.
Anyone have a set collecting dust? Thanks

Audi TT mirrors are "cheap as chips", might take a bit of fettling but reckon would look good?

They do look good but I’m going to hold out for the swept wedge look.

Good luck.
I bought a pair from a breaker 20 years ago. Even back then it took me months to find them and they were f@ing expensive.

Doesn’t Gaham Waldren at black cat now have the moulds to rustle you up a pair of pods?

Did the same upgrade to my 200 a few years back. Bought the pods from TET and the motors off ebay (Rover SD1 or Saab). I seem to remember getting hold off the glass was the biggest issue at the time.... probably because I didn't know what it was off.

Personally I prefer the look of the pods to the standard mirrors. It also helped getting the car in the garage as the pods are mounted further in.
Cheers Steve

Hi

I have some old new stock pods (Never been painted) and I have some used painted pods.

I also have some mirror heads and glass, which I am happy to part with for some beer/petrol tokens.

If you are interested please e-mail/message me direct.

Andy
