I feel guilty as sin. I have a couple years worth of pictures of improvements done to Trevor after I sold him to my auto-bodyman friend Keith. After the work I did on a body-off chassis job, Keith poured even more good money after bad, lol, and repainted him, replaced interior peices, (new seats etc.) and replaced the roof/hood?. The car looks nice. The original TVR fibreglass had ripples galore when looking down the side of the car, but they were all sanded out and the surface looks great in a reflection.

I'll get the pics and any vids up in the next few days. As a former wedge owner and as a a guy STORING my old wedge not 50 feet from my front door, I HAVE to!

On another note, my autobody mechanic buddy I sold it to, is pushing 66yo, has diabetes, isn't healthy, and really wants his investment back. So the plan is to sell it to JAY LENO... he has a car buying page, the Blue Beast IS only 1 of 103, and the last time I checked the pinned topic of wedge owners (5 years ago?) only 22 survived.

I'd hate to see him go but Leno certainly does have a rep for restoring them right.

Pics later...

Thanks for your update. I was only thinking the other week that it’s been a long time since you were here.
Looking forward to pictures and further updates.

Hey thanks, and I do have updates, but it seems like every frikken image hosting site wants my still to be ejaculated firstborn son just to post a fuhqing picture! My original restoration topic https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asph=0&a... from YEARS AGO had its images all hosted by imageshack.com. Those sockcuckers did a big RESET a few years back, and ALL the proof of new radiators, tie-rod ends, upper and lower ball joints disappeared down the memory hole. frown The only proof of the work done now is receipts.

The dirty b4st4rds!

But life moves on and now its upon me find image hosting, no questions asked. Wedges are worth it!

I will get these pics/vids up when I find appropriate hosting,... in the meantime my fellow wedgers, .... and I say this with utter sincerity...paraphrasing here... We will fight on the beaches, we will fight in the fields, we will fight in the hills, WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER! (Winston after buying his first Wedge)

The first Sea Lord dude?

Yeah, good ol' Sir Winston of the Dardinelles/Galipoli sh*t.

Can't forget his gassing the Kurds...Dunkirk? Narvick?

Anyone remember the Royal Oak, Scapa Flow, and 800+ lost over a minor Polish territorial skirmish?

Yeah, same Winston... the one who bankrupted and killed the Empire where the sun NEVER sets...

Al least he's moved on. I thought he and Arther Harris were collaboraring with project paperclip Nazis to rule Antarctica.

Wedge withdrawals....not good...not sure about Winston...I guess if it were left to Chamberlain it would of been Britain surrendering and we would be using AEG products...(Who built the gas chambers) and driving BMW's...."Hang on" !! eek

Mike I remember having possibly the last passenger ride in that car before it was shipped, when Jim owned it.

I tried to do my magic with the wayback machine and your photos but unfortunately can't resurrect them, which is a great shame. No chance they are stuck on an old computer somewhere?
