Anyone know of this wedge
Discussion
Hi Everyone,
I've always lusted after a wedge and seeing this on autotrader has got me thinking - I'll speak with the owner too but wanted to know if anyone knew anything about it?

It looks like it has been off the road for 10 years and so has only a small MoT history - and no mention of being restored.
Thanks a lot
Mike

Nice looking car, looks like it was bought at an auction in 2008:

the rear spolier is not original with a 350i and i´m also not sure abot the bonnet with its vents.
this said, the csar looks quite nice, but all depends on the chassis condition.....especially as the sales price is on the higher side

I've just gone a little bit queezy. Please tell me you bought it......
I owned this car for 13 years (think I was the last proper owner) and sold it for a song (a whole lot less than it's up for here) when I simply couldn't afford to maintain it alongside mortgage payments, as many of the bills you've probably got will show. Looking at the pics it's been spruced up a little as it was beginning to look it's age, but it was a good old girl that was never pranged.
A few random things of note (I got to know the original owner). The 400 bonnet and SEAC spoiler were specced from new and the engine is non-standard. There should be some dyno run paperwork in with your stuff which shows (if my memory is right) around 225bph at the wheels. This was with two lads for Aldon Automotice sat in the boot in a failed attempt to stop the wheels spinning...
For any of the old guard who remember Rich Smith from Team Central/Peninsular Autos and Tuscan Challenge fame, I bought it on his recommendation as in his words "it's a bit special"
Obviously it was special a long time ago and it seems like it's been sat for a long long time so I can't vouch for it now. But just randomly popping on here and spotting this post has made me feel all fluffy and nostalgic. I really hope it gets/got bought and used :-D :-D :-D
