Interior Pull Handle Clips

Hi
Can anybody help me with the following problem. My door handle will not open from the inside and on investigation I found the rod had pulled out of the handle. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase the clip to secure the rod to the handle. There is also a oblong nylon type insert slider that is damaged. Are these also available.

If it has pulled off, then the 'joggle' in the rod has meant it has been too taut. There is a rubber limit stop (missing from the picture) that I have and rarely ever seen on a TVR as the foam on the door trim and the plastic escutcheon is under lots of tension anyway. Here are the bits ...ignore the very long rod as these parts are fitted to earlier TVR's too.
