Wondering how much structural integrity the bar across the front of the engine bay provides to the nose cone or the wheel well. Some of the coupe pictures I found seem to be missing this bar. Asking because of possible future modifications....
I guess it makes the tub stronger near the bonnet mounts. On mine I had to cut a few slots in it to get the radiator out/in again. Also it's where you mount the oil cooler thermostat (if you have one).
