TVR ...Rover SD1 (TVR drivers side) rear lamp assembly
Discussion
I am looking for a drivers side (Rover passenger side) lamp assembly...having refitted the complete rear end over the summer, the lamp lense has parted company with the backing and it is filling with water! I need to rework the fibreglass behind the assembly to allow it 'fit' naturally AND flush, before I do all the bolts up, which is not something I anticipated! (I am watching a few on Ebay, but I thought I had better ask here too). A@
Edited..perhaps I am looking for more than just replacing the lamp, perhaps, I should be asking if anyone has the SD1 version out of their car to look and see if the lamp is modified, in that the lamp is used upside down and the drain holes that would of been at the bottom have been drilled OR if someone has an OE TVR lamp laying around to look at for modification.

Adam, I will PM you and you can scare me with a price...lol, I have been looking at what I or TVR did wrong for them to fail ....and looking on how I can get the shell modified to accept the lamp properly (not under pressure to bend the lamp) which hot glueing the assembly together and Stikaflex'ing around the whole lamp is an option (I did 'think' about Stikaflex when I rebuilt them earlier this year AND I would of never found out about the assembly failing if I that had been the route I took). MY real issue is that miss matching old/good/new items sort of screws with my head every time I look at them as I pass car...so I would need to have the pair! A@

Ahh look at that - mint - I wish fuego clusters were that cheap, and didn't fade (the orange seems to get it worst).
Those were pulled off an SD1 in around 1995 along with the alloy wheels, some electrical gubbins, and the engine and box. I think the car cost me about £200, maybe £150. If it's the same one I am thinking of (I broke two of these), the test drive consisted of driving up and down a farm track with a can of fuel on the passenger seat feeding the engine though a pipe out the window and under the bonnet ;^)
