Morning All
Have been fettling the wedge - one of the jobs on my list was to replace the track rod ends. One came off ok the other wouldn’t budge even with wd40 and a bit of heat. Ended up slitting down the side of it and the locknut to release it. Net result I now need a new locknut but I’ve no idea of the thread size (or come to that where I can get one given the current restrictions )
Anyone have s clue ??? It’s bigger than 12mm as I’ve tried one of those - do I’m guessing 1/2 inch unc???

I would guess UNF? Yes it's Ford Cortina too, that are very standard.

Well I didn't think it would be metric but after a bit of googling seems it is.

The postage here will probably exceed the 50p cost:

LOL 8 quid including P+P!

Some on the flea for a pound item number 174158144308.
