While the rear brakes are removed , is there any way of checking the efficiency of the handbrake calipers to self adjust, also should the internal mechanism be oiled / greased or serviced in any way. . cheers martin
Hard to check actual operation but it is worth taking off the cover, clean out all the old grease, make sure the ratchet works, and the springs are OK, re-grease, paint the cover with hammerite and reassemble.
