Pop up light, as one's stuck down

Coming to work in the rain this morning :-( , tried to use the headlights (like everybody else) but o/s light refuses to come up. What’s the most obvious place to look first??

Grovel under front of car, locate manual knob on pod motor. Wind it anticlockwise and see if pod comes up and pops back down. If so the motor is working OK, it's probably a bad connection either inside the motor gearbox or one of the connectors in the loom feeding the motor.
The motors themselves don't ofen fail.

Agreed, most probably the connectors getting wet.

You will probably find that the connectors are right in the water's travel dripping down in-between the pod and the bodywork. When it rains they fail!

Now sorted thanks, checked fuses OK, wound knob as suggested got two turns and the light shot up and straight back down again. Then tried lights and they both popped up fine. Stuck one is slower than other mind, but one of them has to be the slow one so can live with that.
