I'm trying to find out the paint reference on me motor but the body code is illegible :banghead:

My only thought now is to get the reference for STARFIRE MICA BLUE - if anyone can help?? and use this as a guide to get a match.

I'm only after some touch up paint

Halfrauds do a paint matching facility. My 'Mica Blue' turned out to be some sort of Toyota colour. There were also three different types of Toyota varients light, mid and dark blue just to add to the confusion.

The factory documentationv for my car states Starfire Mica Blue PA14B - and the same code is on the vin plate.

This translates on the Autocolor site to P422-PA14B
This is the code that my local Autocolor supplier recognised and mixed against - colour match on the car is very good.
Brown Bros mixed a couple of litres and also put some in aerosols for me.

The Autocolor site -<a href="www.ppg.com/nexaautocolor/index.html">www.ppg.com/nexaautocolor/index.html</a> lists Toyoto Dark Blue 1986, Toyoto Trafalger Blue 1986 - 1997 & Toyoto Blue 1991 as the same colour - but I cannot confirm the match.

Hope this helps
David
