Lights yet again
Discussion
Thought we had not had a light thread recently so here we go !
My spot lamps are suppposed to flash when I flash, so if the headlamps are up or down I can still flash when needed.
However they seem to very intermitant and flash when they want to. (Also do not come on with main beam when they should) I know the main headlamp is flashing as I can see this under the car
I have checked the wiring and the left one is feeding the right one etc. Can get them working by redoing the connections, but the next time I go to use the car they are dead again.
Is there a seperate relay for the spots that could be going faulty ? As sometimes if I leave the lights on full beam with engine running in the drive eventually the spots will come back on !
Very annoying
So any other suggestions, for
relay (which one is it ?)
diodes ? - although the normal lights work - so I may not want to play with these
Cheers

I had a bad connection with the bulb holder. Replaced that and it was OK. The bit that is clipped to the back. Can't remember where I got it from.
Annoyingly it was failed in an MOT but later found out it is not a requirement.
Edited to add, I would sort it out, tweek up the connection an all, but it only last a day or two. Changed the holder in a clutching of straws moment and it worked.
