I seem to have worn out the rears on my 350. I can't imagine how that happened?

I am looking for suggestions as to what to replace them with?

At the moment the tyres are Goodyear Eagle NCT3 205/50/15.
I understand these are no longer available?

Any suggestiopns for some good grippy tyres for road use only?

Thanks guys.

Depends what you want. If you'd like to maintain the original spec then the D2 is probably your best choice. If you change to 205/55/15s then there's a fair bit more choice. Avoid the NCT3s - for euro rep boxes only. www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=174209&f=12&h=0&hw=tyre

Toyo Proxes are good and you can get them from the "black circles" website.

Hi..

Can only second Gemini..

and AFAIK mytyres.co.uk is the only place you can get them. Goodyear dealers will tell you that they are no longer available.

Someone local has Bridgestone RE720's on which I would have gone for had I not been able to match up a set of F1's

Have bridgestone RE720 (205/60 R15 V-rated) and happy with them.
From a tyre size point of view you can go to 225/50 R 15 on the 7J rims. This size is more easy to find.

Just got a set of toyos 225/50/15 and 205/50/15 for my 7j Lattice wheels they fit just great and look good not been out with them yet but all petrol head mates with such cars as Audi 4x4 Turbo, Cat 7, MRthing, etc ALL say that they are the dogs plumbs.
Total price just inside £300. No they aint OE but they are black and round and you have to move along with technology when you can or we would all be running round on crossplys

John Ravenscroft told me that the 225/50/15-205/55/15 size was as small as he would go on a wedge because bany smaller and the suspension angles wouldn't work properly.
