Central South to BBWF

Thought I might see who else is going up on Sat morning from Hants / West Sussex and up for a little (or big) convoy.

I'm going from Fareham, Hants - if there are any more Wedges local to me then a mini-meet (small meet as opposed to a meeting of small british cars) at Wickham Square just north of Fareham then up to the A34.

Thought that an ideal main meeting point would be the Sutton Scotney services on the A34 at around 10am staying there until 10.30(ish)am then up the A34 to Oxford (maybe even stop at the Oxford Services) then onto the A44 followed by the A3400 and on to Ettingham. I did this route last year and it was a-OK.

Anyone else fancy meeting up at either Wickham or Sutton Scotney (or Oxford)?

Sorry ralphie. I'm in Newbury so you'll be going right past my door, but I won't be leaving until 6ish Saturday eve. Look to the right as you go past the Police roundabout and youll see the wedge on the drive. Will ask Mrs F to wave when she hears you!!

The Colonel and I will be going to M40 junction 4 to meet up with with a lot of others.We are coming from the Fleet area together. If you want to meet us somewhere before then, send me an e-mail.

Paul - I see that you are starting from Fareham, how about taking the Meon valley road to Alton (I am 4 miles east from there) or to Farnham and convoy to Fleet, pick up Bob M and on to J4 High Wyc - there will be at least 12 wedges there.

Thanks Paul, I might just do that. I have emailed Rev to get the route from HW to Ettingham. Not yet sure whether I'll go to HW itself or join up on route. I'll mail you.
