I dropped in to see Neil at TVRcarparts in May and noticed a few Tiv's around in a garage next door. Didn't think about it at the time but on the next visit where I ran out of petrol :grumpy: got talking to Eddie (who provided the lift with Jerry can) and he is ex Peninsula and restored Neil Hyde's old 400SE.

This garage have 3 mechanics and charge £35/hr, parts sourcing is not a problem

Take the SEAC down last week (first time I've had a chance to cane it and I was grinning a lot) to have the saggyarse done before the Kevlar repairs

Graham is in charge and it is called Dulford Automotive 01884 266675

Dave gives me a lift to the station in a very nice V8S and he is the TVRCC RO for D&C and a director of TVRcarparts (think that's what he said)

Mike

apparently this is not uncommon with SEAC's

The rear sags down at the back and the front sags inwards towards the middle not helped by less than substantial mounting points. The solution involves putting in a large plate and shimming with rubber to correct this then remove the shims from the door lock (the gap is now even)

I did warn you not to trust that petrol gauge Dave !!

Dulford Automotive will be doing some work on the Cerbera before too long !

Eddie became affectionately known as " Edward Spannerhands" when he was doing the 400 , top man !!

Hmmm, adding weight to a body that's supposed to be weight saving?

Well when I say large, it's relative, about a 2 inch strip between the mounting points. Am I forgiven ?

Popped down to Dulford on the weekend and saw a very, very nice looking Wedge chassis up on the ramps with what can only be described as the biggest BIG brake conversion I have ever seen...complete with spider alloys......anybody here??

The brakes looked like something off a Tuscan racer to me!
