I hope this is the right place for this? I'm Kate (Mrs waynester)unfortunately wayne had an accident coming home from work yesterday....fortunately not in his TVR (he said) Someone went into the side of his car. He is not injured badly, but he is in bad pain with his back and left arm/shoulder/wrist..!
At the moment it looks like he will not make the show at the weekend, certainly not in the TVR..(i will not drive it). Maybe in my car, not sure, depends on how mobile he is by then. He wanted me to let you know.

Thanks,
Kate

Sorry to hear about it. Give him my best wishes for a speedy recovery - at least well enough to get behind the wheel of the Wedge.

Kate - send him my best wishes for a speedy recovery..

The last thing his back back will need is travelling in a wedge..

I'm sure we can send him the DVD if he feels unfit to travel..

Kate,

Really sorry to hear of Waynes accident - hope he recovers soon - we'll have ourselves another Southern gathering in his honour when he's better if he can't make BBWF.

Having said all that - tell him if he does make it he can have my OZs - should think that will encourage him

Sean

Wayne - Hope you get well - It must be a Herts thing. I have been out of my Wedge (and my car) since April due to back problem (thanks to someone who took my chair away at work !!!). It's getting there, but not in time for the B1G BBW to attend the BBWF - SteveR, you will have to use someone elses bonnet for the T-Shirts. I am going to try and attend by using a company transit van which is less painfull to drive.
Redcar - I am still going to bring the DVD camcorder to capture some BBWF 2005 footage.

Anyhow enough of my sad story - WAYNE - GET WELL SOON - perhaps we will me up later in the year and put some mileage on the Wedges.

Perhaps it's a 'W' thing as well as a Herts, Wayne and Wedgie get those backs working, go see a cruncher but hope you both make it.

perhaps we should have had black polo's

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Wayne. I wish you a speedy and full recovery and hope that you can make BBWF, even if you have to use another car.
