Immobiliser advice for newbie

I'm getting the owner to fit a Thatcham CAT 2 immobiliser on it for me before I pick it up.
Anyone suggest the best to go for - I want a 'transponder' type - with the little sender unit on your keyring. I don't want one where you plug a little key into a socket fitted on the dashboard - they are crap!
The seller has said he can get a 'Sigma' CAT 2 transponder type
fitted with certificate for £99 - anyone heard of this make? & does that sound a reasonable price?
(I imagined the price to be between £100 - 120??)

That sound reasonable value... I Paid £100 plus some years ago when I changed out one of the old plug in the dash versions...
I've had a TOAD Powerkey fitted for some time.. Suspect that Toad now produce Sigma kit or vice versa..
The only two things you need to make sure of is that "on day of fitting" it is/was listed here.

I had a toad powerkey fitted to my wedge, satisfied the insurers to Cat2. Fitted my a mobile company called Microtechnics - £115.
Transponder type so seamless in operation.
Made me laugh that part of Cat 2 compliance is that all the immobiliser wiring must be black, just like the rest of the series 1 wedge wiring. So that's why the factory built them that way - built in theft protection.
