speakers and head unit
Discussion
I know most people never want any music in the wedge other than the V8 but some music would be nice when driving in heavy rain on the m'way.
What size are the standard speakers behind the seats? Are there any recomendations for good replacements(without having to cut bigger holes etc)?
Will any head unit fit in the wedge, it looks like the pioneer tape head unit (standard I think) doesn't fit properly. The wedge bible implies the connections aren't standard?

Head unit is standard din, so most units should fit it. You could have anything from a cassette player to a dvd player / screen if you wished.
As for speakers from what I remember they were fairly standard sixe and halfords had many suitable replacements ranging from poor to good quality.
I have a Kenwood MP3 player in mine with 4 Kenwood speakers , 2 in normal rear and 2 somewhere in the front. So sounds reasonable and is a must for doing long journeys or stuck in traffic !
