I see a few of us are planning already?

I like the idea of the earlier start :)

Having stands this year was excellent

Missed not having a spare car park for the Doughnut entertainment though.

How about Santa Wedge 2005! - Xmas gathering, mid wales someplace, big hotel like the 'Metropole' in Llandrindod Wells; plenty of space and some abso-bloody-lootly brill hooning roads.

Cheap as chips as well and good grub........

Sounds like you have a plan there Mike

Do it on a Sunday, no weddings, whole place to ourselves.

Area big enough for cars, stands, and skillfull driving test !

Not sure about an outdoor bbq at christmas though

The Metropole is the Hotel all the RAC/NeworkQ boyos stay at come rally time. The car park is huge and quite secure.

The grub is quite good at the place as well. Also its the Welsh Wedge boyos 'Chicken Run' stomping ground and we know lots of nice roads......

Is that near England ?

I vote we have it somewhere in Lincolnshire, as it's on the 'dry side', has excellent hooning roads, and nobody lives there.

Jeff, EXCELLENT pic.

Looks like a couple of .303 and a couple of .22's thrown in for good measure to me. Poor shot though, mind you it was probably from the other valley.

come over to holland and we make a wedge party on the 17th of september, the boose is free, and the chinees also.
It cost you about 20 euro the Blackpool on the rijn club sponserd the boose and the food.
Come over the big river and have a great time here.
Lots of donuts and burn outs.
The local bar is also okay, we organized knockers behind the bar.
Place to be.

September in Holland sounds good!

Free booze, free chinese, what more could we want? Knockers behind the bar of course.

What is Blackpool on the Rjin?

I'd love to go to Wales sometime (land of my fathers!) but a short trip over the sea sounds good. It's nearer too!

Use the 30 day (or is it 90?) green card for driving in Europe we all have with our classic car insurances.

I wonder how much the ferry would be - still in season at that time I think?

GunMetal - sorry I couldn't meet you at the Alma in Harwich on Sunday - I thought you might be in the country for a few days.

The Welsh Xmas thread is now stickied at the top of the Wedge forum. Register your interest there. The Overseas thing also sounds good, especially the knockers! Start a new Thread reagarding this as it is all becoming tooo confusing.

Also, back on thread, BBWF 2006 any more ideas?
