Newbie/Car Cover

Well after 3 months of research, emailing, & a visit to the the BBWF, courtesy of Blaine - cheers for that. I have finally done a deal on a wedge & am picking it up Saturday YEAHHHHH! 
I have everything pretty much sorted - just need a bit of advice on the following:
I currently don't have access to a garage (yet), I am obviously planning to get a decent cover - can anyone recomend a good VFM cover that doesn't affect the paintwork, lets the interior 'breathe' as such & does the job it's supposed to! - any info on types/ suppliers welcome - or if anyone has one lying around they want to flog me?
Also what's the best stuff for waterproofing the roof? - & again shove some decently priced mail order company's my way if you could.
Obviously everyone welcome me to wedge ownership! & chip in with any other comments or advice I may appreciate!

I got one of these:

it was an MTSS I think.
It's very good, fully waterproof and fleece lined to protect the paint. Attach some lead weights to the straps though to make them easy to sling underneath the car.

I 2nd Thompson's water seal (get it from B&Q or Homebase). After 2 coats water beads straight off the roof.
It is almost unbelivable, you throw a glass of water over it, beads of water snake off the roof and the canvas is still bone dry!
At the moment mine is being kept outside with no cover and assuming all door and windows are shut properly it doesn't leak.

I've brought a 350 - can't afford anything else (yet!), it's had a full respray, so I want to keep the bodywork as it looks now!.
Cheers for that - I'll prob go for one of those covers from HamiltonClassic, they lood pretty good & won't break the bank.
I'll nip down Homebase & get some Thompson's

I have a clasic additions breathable cover for my Taimar.
Left it on for months last winter.The weather was never good enough for the moisture to evapourate. When it froze I ended up with micro blisters in the paint.
My recommendation would be just to use a Leven hood cover. Also if you park on a hill, park facing up the hill so that the water doesnt run off the bonnet, straight onto the headlamp pod motors ( I keep mine well covered in waxoil).
