Inlet manifold part number.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
I'm cleaning up a 3.5 V8 from a SD1 Vitesse. The engine number is 30A02369, which checks out as an '84-ish vintage Vitesse block, however it has an inlet manifold with the land rover logo and the part number ERC9119 cast it it just above the thermostat housing.
To my knowledge the EFi Range Rover didn't come out til 1986, and I cant find the part number listed on any Landrover spares sites. Anyone any ideas where/what the origins of the manifold are, is it a common/direct replacement etc etc?

Yup, just double-checked all my spare inlets, all have ERC 9119 on them. Apart from the one I've ground all the markings and flash off, that is...
Edit: your engine could have had the injection retro-fitted, perhaps? In which case the cam profile may not be optimal...

Typical...Just got into this rat's nest myself!
Am trying to get replacement coolant pipes which run under the manifold, and mine has the same details..i.e the ERC9119(which does'nt appear in the Land Rover/range rover parts list) with the Land Rover symbol.
Rimmer brothers are trying (and failing at present) to track down this number.
I bought an SD1 heater return pipe from them, but it's missing the small 1/4 inch pipe take-off at the front of the pipe, but worse than that the heater supply pipe which runs under the V as well is completely different to what rimmers supply for SD1!

I have noticed a few cases where what's marked on the part bears no resemblance to its (Land/Range)Rover catalogue number...
As far as I can tell there were two manifolds: carb and injection
. Lots of the ancillary bits changed but the main castings seem to be the same.
On the injection manifold there are two coolant pipes under it: one is detachable and links to the back of the water pump, the other is threaded into the manifold casting. Not all versions use this. It's usually fitted with a blanking plug if not, but I have one where the hole was never drilled. If the pipe is fitted but corroded, getting it out is an absolute pig of a job. You'd be lucky to do it without ripping the thread out of the manifold.
