Reae tyre wear

Noticed this on my rear n/s tyre. It seems to have a bevel edge on it?!? I've put some chalk on the edge and gone for a 20 mile run and the chalk stayed. Then later on in the day I went for a shorter run and the chalk was scrubbed off. Anyone had this?

When the car is stationary the edge is at 45 degrees to the ground. :scratchchin:

My rears do that a bit, but I think it was the overloading at LeMans with them hitting the arches.

They all do that, Sir!

Check the inside of the wheel arches for rubbing. Either that or you drive on two wheels..... (actually I'd like to see that at next BBWF - you listening, Gun Metal ;^)

Yep I put some chalk on the inside of the arch where I could see some scuffs and went for a blast. Sure enough it rubbed off. Thanks guys
