Wheel Weights ????

just had the front wheels balanced again due to the wheel weights flying off they use the stick on ones inside the wheel which are great but they dont stop on. The wheels have just been refurbed and are very clean what can I do to get them to stop on ?? :spin:

Can't say - I've every heard of this..

Perhaps the tyre place should clean the back of the rim first. Also insist that all weights are stuck on the back of the wheel and not the front.

Mine were refurbed and came back like mirrors, they were balanced and weights have stayed on at high speeds. As Rev says are tyre company doing there bit correctly.

Ask them to use some new weights, maybe the glue has gone off if they are old weights? Just a thought, bit like old envelopes losing the stickyness.

The weights will stay on if put on the front, but they don't look quite so pretty , but they do balance !

I've noticed that racers often cover balance weights with gaffer tape, presumably to stop this problem.

you can even choose colour of tape to suit...
