Firefox 420 SEAC

Well folks - I will now after all be selling my Wedge.
I shall be drafting an ad shortly and may put a copy on the classifieds section here. However, a lot of you know the car, and though I didn't attend BBWF 2005 there were many compliments at BBWF 2004.
Whilst it is an SEAC with 'alternative' bodywork - and therefore different from 'standard' SEACs, I am not looking to sell it cheaply as some of you seem happy to do.
Many of you know the car, so if you would like to contact me prior to the ad being placed, (I need to get some new photos done as the existing ones are far too large to upload easily) please feel free to email me.
Hopefully I will come back to Wedge ownership again in the near future, but health reasons dictate I must part company with the last remnants of my collection. Ferrari also for sale.

I'm really sad to hear that you're selling up JJ. Health comes first as they say - can always buy another car at a later date. Why not come to the Mid Essex meet next month and put an advert in the windscreen? Could generate some interest.
Stay in touch, and just because you may not have a Wedge doesn't mean the meets and get-togethers are out of bounds. The first 3 years of my TVR meets were all done in a 1967 VW Beetle - all I could insure at the time.

It is a SEAC. It says so on the V5, and the history of the body change is known. Apart from the body, there are other things which distinguish SEAC cars from other models after all.
Having said that, what you , personally would do if it was you selling the car is obviously your business. I think the last thing JJ needs at the moment is an unnecessary reopening of acrimonious debate.

What is it? In what seems like a hundred pages of debate I can only ever recall theories but never a single fact to show that it has even had a body change.
The original owner didn't like the style and had the other body put on. The SEAC body was bought by a Dutch person. While I was in Holland, I discovered that the original body was used to repair two other SEACS. One of them had front end damage, the other rear end damage. I have been shown both these cars and can confirm the lumps under the wheel arches where the grafts were done. All this can be confirmed by a TVR enthusiast of the highest standing and integrity who bought the body.
This is fact. I hope it puts an end to the speculation.

Sorry to hear you're selling the wedge and it's due to ill health - hope all goes well.

Considering the car is going to be up for sale if anyone knows it's true providence why not tell - whatever the truth it can only help JJ as surely speculation as to it's history can only devalue it !
Why the secrecy - was Lord Lucan the previous owner (JJ - better check the boot).

I think there are some other SEAC's which don't have the Aramaic contruction either...

I take it that from that you mean a 4.2? Don't under estimate the body swap cost. Even for a week old SEAC it would have been cheaper to sell it and buy a 420SE: same engine, body...
