After some hard negiotions where lots of beer was involved, it was finaly the time for us to make the so long expected deal with Gun Metal.

With the whole Blackpool aan den Rijn clan helping to close the deal by keep filling up father Hardy his pints he was finaly pursueded by the flames from the 400se's exhaust! You wedge guy's know a griff can't produce that flames and sound.

We traded the 350i for gun metal's 400se, yes the one who made the burnouts at BBWF.......

Drove 150 miles today and still can't wipe that grin of my face!

I want to thank the guy's who helped me driving a great 400se amongst which;

HHardy (sponsor and (very)large shareholder......)

Gun Metal (former owner and very generous person)

Cantus (also former owner and keeping her in great condition)

Infinity (the pursueder)

Vixen (the seconde pursueder)

0038VX (for the staines, drives knockers around in the 400)

MHardy (for pursueding HHardy and help pushing it to get a 400 in the Hardy TVR collection)

Roger, can it be the UJ's you've heard while driving with Sander? I felt the wheels (jacked up) and couldn't feel any movement. But i do hear a slight boinking sound.... Apart from that i love everything about this beast!!

The 400 is a knocker killer, so you must sell the car.

Well the knocking noises coming from it, even when Sander isn't in there, could be down to one of several things down the drive train, but without the chance to jack the car up I can't tell what it is. I suspected a UJ bearing because the knock was at roadspeed and suddenly developed though the car had been used lightly all day. Try greasing the nipples (oooerrr missus) on the UJ joints to see if the noise diminishes.

Took your advice and greased the nipples on the misses this evening and the problem is that a new noise evolved it's goes a bit like; yes yes YES...... maybe it's not the UJ's cause i don't hear any noise if i'm in the 400 without her.......

Seriously, will have a look at the driveshaft and UJ's this week and find out what it is because i want to do some miles in the 400 before the winter comes!!

maybe your audio system have a REC knob and the person who drives the car before likes the YES,o Yes come on sound very well

Tip: clean the car's interior first

So how many positions are possible in the ragtop?

I have tried 3 but maybe Gunmetal can add some more:

1. her on top of him in the passenger seat,

2. him on top of her lying across the transmission tunnel,

3. vice versa.

3) Definitely the kind of vice I'm not averse to

When you are the height of nonsense, it's better to go and look for a comfier spot though.

the bonnet is the best position, just try it in the garage and than you find out why.
If you put some soap on the bonnet the knocker loves the why you pick her up whit your sabel.

Gunmetal I have seen your sabel..., I would call it
a pocket knife! So you will certainly need the soap to
get her wet!

What about doggy-style on the bonnet?

For dutch readers: Have look in "het sprintje" and find the "porno factor of your TVR" article for some other variation

Yeah well, I did say 'IN' the wedge. You could also do it on the boot, unless you have a big SEAC spoiler. Or if you do, you are a tall bloke (sic).

The wing mirrors are also strong enough to provide another few angles....

Does the engine have to be in? Because there are a few possibilities regarding firewall apertures. Could lead to be a really nasty case of fibre glass itch though.

At first i was a little sad when gunmetal sold the 400. But i feel much better now cause I found a new vehicle to drive my knockers around.

Today I drove my knockers to this place for some skill improvement.
