tyre size 15" OZ split alloys

What tyre size you recommend for the 15" 8J OZ wheels under my 350i ??

Last weekend we put my brothers ex OZ's under the 350i with 225/50/15 but i think it is a bit too wide for the front wheels

keep 225 on rear, and put 205 on the front

Good luck if you are looking for new tyres for your 15"s. I had real fun and games tracking down a set of tyres but there are still supplies of Toyo Proxes out there..

is it that difficult to get 15" tyre's in the UK?
i think 205/55/15 in front will be the best, what make do yo prefer

I think you'll find that most brands do not recommend fitting a 205 tyre to any rim more than 7.5" wide. The other problem is that performance tyres in 15" diameter are becoming much rarer. I've used SO2's and Toyo, although I prefer to use a Z or W rated tyre, which strictly is not necessary for even the 400 /450. There may be more choice in a V.

Has your car got power steering? 225 with no PS can be hard work. I fitted 225 50 15 on the rear and 205 50 15 toyos up front on my old none PS 350. found them to be OK

Ive got 225's all round and it feels like they are a bit big when moving around in full lock.

Ive been into my local tyre place and theres a huge choice avaliable! I never know with tyres how expensive to go, ive had expensive avons and dunlops before i chose some Falkans on my previous clio sport, and i have to say i had better response from the Falkons.

My local tyre dude quoted me 59.95 per corner for 225/50/15's today for Falkons which i recon is pretty good.....better than the £100 per corner for the 18inch alloys on my Astra! Good job work pay for them!!!!
